An Experimental Study on Wear Performance of Electrolytic Multilayer Cu-Ni-Cr Coated ABS Under Different Test Forces

Plastic materials are widely preferred in many applications due to being light and cheap addition manufactured easily with various manufacturing methods like injection molding or additive manufacturing. One of the most used plastic material ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is sometimes coated increase its wear corrosion resistance. In this study, investigating effect coating test forces on behavior injection-molded specimens at room temperature were focused. For purpose, technology some samples multilayer Cu-Ni-Cr step by step. Then, surface roughness values prepared uncoated measured profilometer. Subsequently, micro view sample was obtained from an optical microscope after cutting precision machine. Lastly, performance tested under loads such as 5N, 7N, 10N using pin-on-disc equipment. conclusion, level determined besides average friction coefficient forces. The results show that affects significantly.
